Paper: Gelliprinted envelopes One of the things I did when I had my optometric practice was to recycle old envelopes to use for distributing payroll checks. I'm sure some of my staff thought I was completely nuts, but 1-I didn't have to buy envelopes (Do you have any idea how many return envelopes one gets in the mail??) and, 2-I got to play with my gelliplate and stencils to decorate the payroll envelopes. Some of them were really gorgeous! As I was clearing out my private office near the end of my career, it occurred to me that I should snap a photo of some of the "dumb recycle envelopes" that I used. I'm quite sure that some of my staff thought I was completely crazy (and cheap!); but I know that one of them told me that she saved every one of the envelopes! These all have one layer, but some had multiple layers!
